Setting up the Webex mobile App

This is a quick walk-through of the installation and setup process of the Cisco Webex Meetings app. 

  1. The Webex mobile app is available for Android and iOS devices. Click on the appropriate link to download the app.

  2. Open the app.

  3. Tap on the Sign In button.

  4. If you are a UConn user and have a NetID, enter your UConn email and follow this guide. If you do not have a NetID, enter your personal email and follow the app instructions without following this guide further.

  5. If "uconn-cmr.webex.com" is available, choose it. If you do not see that choice, use the Enter site URL button to type it in.

  6. Enter your NetID and NetID password.

  7. Optional: If you have 2FA set up with Duo, accept the notification to proceed.

  8. You will then be brought to your Webex Home screen.

Using the Mobile App

Once installed, navigate the app by swiping your finger across the screen or by pressing the buttons at the bottom of the screen.

  1. Swipe once from the right to the left to see your Meetings.

  2. Swipe again to see your Recordings.

  3. To return to another page, swipe your finger in the opposite direction or use one of the buttons at the bottom of the page.
