Making a Video Test Call
Students, faculty, and staff can initiate a video test call using Microsoft Teams or Cisco Webex to verify that a workstation has been correctly set up for returning to work.
Making a Teams Test Call
Open Microsoft Teams on your computer. If Microsoft Teams is not installed, please visit the Installing Microsoft Teams page for an install guide of the program.
Use the search bar at the top of the window to find a coworker you can test with.
Select the coworker's name. You can also chat with them before calling to verify they are available.Â
Use the camera icon to call them.
Verify that both of you can hear and see each other.

Making a Webex Test Call
Navigate to UConn Webex.
Log in with your NetID.
Click on Start a meeting to enter your personal room.
Use the drop-down arrows next to mute and the start/stop video buttons to check your device selections and settings for the call.
Ask a coworker to join your personal room by inviting them to your Room.
Click on the 3 dots within the Webex application.
Select Invite and Remind.
Enter the email address of the coworker.
Verify that you can hear and see each other.
