Connecting your Webex Session to a UConn Room

This guide no longer applies to UConn rooms. Only follow this guide if it has been sent to you by a technician.

Faculty, students, and staff can use Webex-enabled rooms for remote teaching and learning.Ā

Certain rooms at the University have the ability to connect directly to your Webex session. When connecting to these rooms, your computer's webcam and microphone are disabled in favor of the camera and microphones built into the University room.

You must use the touch panel or microphone button to unmute yourself when connected to the classroom conferencing system. On the touch panel, the Mute toggle is in the top-left corner.
