Installing the Webex Plug-in for Outlook

Users can install the Webex plug-in for Outlook on Windows. This allows users to create/manage meetings from within Outlook.

Windows

  1. Download the plugin at Webex Plug-in for Outlook on Windows.

  2. Close Outlook and re-open the application for the changes to take effect.

  3. Once installed, the Outlook ribbon will show the options for "Meet Now" and "Schedule Meeting." The drop-down arrow next to Schedule Meeting provides further options and the ability to set preferences.

macOS

"Old" Outlook Interface 

  1. Navigate to the Get Add-ins button on the menu ribbon.

  2. Use the search function to find Cisco Webex Scheduler.

  3. Once installed, the option for Webex meetings will appear when you create a new meeting on the calendar tab.

"New" Outlook Interface

  1. In the macOS menu bar, navigate to Tools > Get Add-ins.

  2. Use the search function to find Cisco Webex Scheduler.

  3. Once installed, the option for Webex meetings will appear when you create a new meeting on the calendar tab.
