Mute Yourself as a Teams Audio Conference User

This article is for faculty, staff, and students who dial in to a Teams meeting on a cell phone (not using the app) or a landline phone and wish to mute themselves.

Users who call in to a Teams meeting using a phone can mute themselves by pressing * 6.

To unmute, press *6 again.
