Updating Teams Manually

Microsoft releases desktop updates for Teams regularly. These updates should occur automatically; however, you can also force Teams to check for updates manually at any time.

Check for Updates Within the App

1. Open the Teams desktop app.

2. Click on the three dots, or the “Update” button at the top right corner.

3. Click Update and restart Teams in the drop-down box.

4. If there are available updates for Teams, they will now be downloaded and installed.
