Participant Roles - Webex Meetings

The person that schedules the Webex meeting is automatically designated as the host. The scheduler may designate other Participants as Cohosts. These Cohosts may begin Meetings without help from the Scheduler. They will also assume the role of Host if the scheduler unintentionally drops out of the session.

Another use case of the Cohost role is when the scheduler is not responsible for hosting the session (they won't be present for the session).

The Host, no matter the original or a participant who has become the Host, has complete authority over the Meeting while in session.
