Uninstall Webex App

  • Removing the desktop application will not affect your account.

  • Removal will not affect any settings or any meetings, past, present, or future, in your account.

  • You can use the Webex website portal until you re-download the Desktop App.

If you are troubleshooting the Webex app, it may be beneficial to follow the complimentary guide after following this one and before reinstalling the App.

Windows

  1. Move your cursor to the Start Menu icon and right-click.

  2. Choose Apps and Features from the list.

  3. Search for “Webex”

  4. Remove any Webex items in the list

  5. If you have difficulty removing a Webex item from the list, follow the complimentary guide to remove them: .

MacOS

  1. Click on the Applications icon in the Dock at the bottom of your screen.

  2. Find Webex in the list.

  3. Click and drag the icon the the Trash bin in the Dock.

  4. You are finished.
