Attendee Page: How to Join an Webinar

  1. Click on the Join link.

  2. You will be brought to the joining-session webpage. If you have Webex installed on your computer, the program will open automatically. You may be prompted to allow Webex to open automatically. If you do not have Webex installed, you will be asked to download a temporary file that will run the session without needing to be installed.

    1. If you are on a Chromebook or other Linux device, you must use the Web App. Please click on Join from browser if prompted.

  3. Enter your name and email. This information will be used as your display name during the session and for attendance reports.

  4. The preview window will appear as if you were joining a regular Webex Meeting.

  5. Your Microphone will be muted unless the Host manually unmutes you.

  6. Click on the green Join Webinar button.

Remember that as an Attendee, you will not be able to turn on your microphone or camera. You may use the Chat to communicate with the Panelists and Host.
