Webex Webinar Practice Session

After you begin the Webinar, even if there are attendees present, you may begin a Practice Session that will include all the Panelists and exclude the Attendees. It is functionally equivalent to a breakout session: the Panelists are isolated from the Attendees while the Attendees stay right where they are. Panelists are free to talk and share webcams and content.

  • Note about Sharing Content

    • Content sharing will stop when you enter and leave the Practice Session.

    • You may begin sharing content during the Practice Session and cease the sharing during the Practice session and the Attendees will be none the wiser.

  • Notice that the Record button has disappeared and Start live streaming is unavailable during the Practice Session. Recording automatically pauses during the Practice Session and automatically resumes when you leave Practice Session.

  • Attendees and Panelists are free to join the Webinar while the Practice Session is in progress. Panelists will join directly into the Practice Session and be able to communicate.

  • You may send chat messages to the Attendees while in the Practice Session.
