Block a user in Teams
Currently, it is not possible to block a user who is inside our organization (UConn). It is possible to block an external user (UCHC, Foundation, public) with a block function in Teams. It is however possible to simulate a block with internal users. Follow along below to learn how.
Block an internal user
This “block” is a blocking of direct messages. Find your existing chat with this user and click on the ellipsis open to open the context menu. Click on Mute to prevent notifications and then click on Hide to hide this user from your list of conversations.
