Search for a Group

When searching for a group, you must make a query to the EMS System instead of using the search bar at the top of the Groups window, as there are too many groups for EMS to display in one window. A query will allow you to find any Groups needed

Query a Group

These steps can be performed anywhere the Groups window is opened, whether that be in a Reservation Window, the Toolbar, or any other.

  1. Open the ‘Filter’ tab in the top left of the Groups window

  2. Adjust your parameters to search by a Group or Contacts within a Group as needed. Searching by Contacts will pull groups that include the given contact, but not that contact’s Individual group.

  3. Fill in the relevant data fields with the desired data. There are no required fields, but more fields increases specificity.

  4. Click ‘Get Data’. You will be brought to the ‘Results’ tab automatically and provided a list of results. If there are many, you may now use the search bar effectively.

If there are more than 1000 results, you may not be able to effectively use the search bar. You may consider adjusting your query parameters to be more specific in this case.

 

Currently, our EMS Implementation does not support the creation of Groups within EMS itself. We currently create Groups with an automated process that runs each morning.
