Course Menu Basics

This article provides an overview of the tools available to instructors in the course menu bar of HuskyCT.

Menu Bar: Top Half

The Course Menu is the dark gray bar on the left of your HuskyCT course. There are four options at the top. Your students can see these icons.

Open

1. The + button is used to add a Course Menu Item. A drop-down menu lists available options.

2. The up and down arrow symbol is used as a sort button. Use this to move menu items up and down in the course menu.

3. The circle button with arrows is used to refresh the course page.

4. This folder button is used to display the course menu in a separate window.

Course Management Section

Students are unable to view this section. In this section, you can access the following:

  • Test, Surveys, and Pools

  • Respondus Lockdown Browser

  • Blackboard Collaborate Ultra

  • SafeAssign

• Course Evaluations

• Grade Center

  • Needs Grading

  • Full Grade Center
