This article is for faculty and staff seeking information regarding uploading files to HuskyCT. Files can either be added to a content area or a folder.

For instructions on adding or building content in Ultra Course View, please refer to the following link: Building Content in Ultra Course View - Teaching and Learning - UConn Knowledge Base

  1. Navigate to the content area or folder. You can do this in one of two ways:

    1. Option 1: Click on a Content Area Link in the navigation menu.

    2. Option 2: Click on a Content Folder Link on a content page.

  2. Click Build Content.

  3. Select File.

  4. Click Browse Local Files.

  5. Select the file to be added to the desired Content Area or Folder. The file name will appear at the bottom of your screen.

  6. Enter a name for the link. This name does not need to match the file name.

  7. Under File Options, you can also click Yes next to Open in New Window. However, you are not required to do so.

Open in new windows in file options.

  8. Under Standard Options, you may permit users to view the content, track the number of views, and set restrictions on the availability of the content

  9. Click Submit.
