Creating Tool Links

Instructors and TAs can add 3rd party LTI integrated tools, such as WebAssign, Webex, Pearson MyMath Lab, etc. to the Course Menu for easy access for students. 

1. In your course, click the plus sign at the top of the Course Menu.

2. Then select Tool Link.

3. Use the Type drop-down menu to select the tool you want to add.

4. Then input a Name for the link, which will appear in the Course Menu.

5. If you want students to have immediate access, check Available to Users. If unchecked, the tool link will remain hidden from students until you change the setting.
   
   

6. Click Submit.

7. Once added, the tool link will appear at the bottom of the Course Menu. To reposition it, hover your cursor over the left side of the tool link until you see the 4-directional arrow. Then click and drag the tool link to the desired location.
