Updating Drivers for Windows

The most common issue preventing network connections on Windows is out-of-date drivers. Updating drivers is a good measure to take when running into issues with your Windows device. You may need to run this step on a different wireless network or on a hard-wired Ethernet connection.

Steps to Update Driver

  1. Open Settings and navigate to Windows Update.

  2. If available, click Check online for updates from Microsoft. Allow all available updates to install and restart as necessary.

  3. Click Check for updates if the prior option is not available. Allow all available updates to install and restart as necessary.
