Using SafeAssign in HuskyCT

Your instructor may ask you to submit an assignment through SafeAssign. The steps below show what a SafeAssignment looks like and how to submit one.

Before clicking on the assignment link, the regular assignments and those that will be checked by SafeAssign look the same. Once you click on the assignment link to upload your assignment, if it is a SafeAssign, you will see SafeAssign mentioned in two places – under the Additional Information and under the Details & Information.

  1. Depending on the assignment instructions, submit your work using the text entry box or the “Upload a file” image-20260408-123645.png button. Available options may vary based on your instructor’s settings. Once you upload the file, you will see the file name listed in the bottom (please pay attention to the acceptable file types).

  2. Click Submit to submit your assignment.
Note: If you click Save and close, your assignment will not be submitted.

  3. Be sure you receive a confirmation of your submission. If your submission was successful, the confirmation will pop up after clicking on the submit button. There will also be a confirmation number. You will also receive an email upon successful submission that includes this number.
