eduroam
eduroam is a secure wireless network that gives students, faculty, and staff from UConn and other participating academic institutions encrypted access to the wireless network (Wi-Fi) at UConn and at other participating institutions.

How to connect
To connect to eduroam, use your home institution credentials.
UConn members (anyone with a NetID)
On your device, go to Wi-Fi settings.
Select the eduroam network.
When prompted, enter:
Username: YourNetID@uconn.edu (example: abc12345@uconn.edu)
Password: Your NetID password
You have connected to eduroam and have access to secure Wi-Fi.
For device-specific instructions, especially Android devices, follow the instructions for how to connect to UCONN-SECURE. The only difference in the instructions is that you need to enter NetID@uconn.edu in the username/identity field and not just your NetID.
For members of another institution visiting UConn:
On your device, go to Wi-Fi settings.
Select the eduroam network.
When prompted, enter:
Username: Your institutional email address, ex. username@homeinstitution.edu
Password: Your institutional email password
You have connected to eduroam and can access the internet while on the UConn campus.
