Wireless Connections
ITS provides and supports three wireless networks at all campuses, the School of Law, and most University affiliate locations.
UCONN-SECURE: encrypted network that provides secure connectivity to the Internet. Recommended for all UConn users.
UCONN-GUEST: unencrypted network that supports limited Internet connectivity.
eduroam: a global network that allows Internet connectivity at many higher education institutions, libraries, and government facilities in the US and abroad.
If you do not have good wireless service in your residence hall or building, contact the ITS Technology Support Center so they can assess the need for a new wireless access point. Do not install an access point yourself as it can cause network disruptions.
