University email accounts and calendars for students, faculty, and staff are hosted on Outlook for Microsoft 365. Outlook is the mail application for Microsoft 365.

All active students now use Microsoft Outlook instead of Gmail for emailing at UConn. This transition occurred in Summer 2024.

  • Attachment size: Up to 150 MB email file size (35 MB per file attachment)

Accessing Your UConn Email Online

  1. Go to email.uconn.edu

  2. Click Outlook.

  3. Sign in with your UConn email address.

  4. Enter your NetID password.

  5. Respond to the Duo two-factor authentication prompt, if required. You will now see your inbox in Outlook.

You can also install the Microsoft 365 mail app on your computer and mobile devices.

All UConn faculty, staff, and students may download Microsoft 365 applications on up to five University-owned or personal devices.
