Text Hidden on OneDrive Website

Students, faculty, and staff may find that they cannot read the text on the OneDrive or SharePoint website when using Safari on macOS 15. This is because the text color is the same color as the background. The text on the page becomes visible when highlighted, however. There is a simple fix for this issue.

This issue was fixed in an update.

Fix the text color

  1. Update Safari and/or macOS.
Make sure you are running the latest software.

  2. If you still have the issue after an update and reboot, open Safari.

  3. In the top menu bar, click on Safari and then click on Settings.

  4. Click on the Advanced tab and then check the box at the bottom to “Show features for web developers”.

  5. Click on the now visible Feature Flags tab.

  6. Search for “css content visibility” and uncheck it to turn it off.

  7. You may need to close and reopen Safari

  8. If you continue to have issues, please reach out to techsupport@uconn.edu.
