Finding Your NetID

If you forget your NetID, the unique network identifier assigned to all faculty, staff, and students, you can find it on the NetID management site. 

  1. Go to http://netid.uconn.edu.

  2. Click Find below the "Find NetID" heading.

If you do not see the option for "Find NetID" on the homepage, select "log out" in the upper right corner and try again. Then go back to the NetID website, and the bottom options will have changed.

  1. On the page that appears, enter your first name, last name, and date of birth into the fields provided.

    1. Note: When you are entering your date of birth, use the format MM/DD/YYYY

  2. Click Find Your NetID. Your NetID will then be displayed on the screen.

Finding Information About Your UConn Accounts

If you know your NetID and password, you can view information about your account, such as chosen name, email address, university affiliation, and Peoplesoft ID (student ID), on the NetID Website.

If you identify an error or have a question about the information displayed, you can contact the Technology Support Center.

  1. Go to http://netid.uconn.edu .

  2. Log in by clicking Login for more and entering your NetID and NetID password. If you do not see the option Login for more, you can skip this step.

  3. In the menu at the top of the web page click My NetID > Account Info. Your account information will then be displayed on the screen.
