Using CyberArk for NetIDadmin Accounts

CyberArk is a privileged access management tool that will automatically rotate your NetIDadmin account password daily. The service is protected by UConn Single Sign On and DUO 2FA.

Accessing CyberArk

1. Navigate to the UConn CyberArk Portal: https://uconn.cyberark.cloud/privilegecloud/

2. Enter your UConn Email (or NetIDwork@uconn.edu email) and select Next.

3. You will be redirected to complete your login through Entra SSO with Duo.

4. Once you are logged in, you will be presented with the Accounts View, which will display your managed accounts:

Retrieving your NetIDadmin password

1. After logging in to CyberArk using the steps above, you will be presented with your accounts.

2. There are two options available, depending on the account type:
   
   Option A: Show or Copy your NetIDadmin password.
   To the far-right of your account, select the ellipses button and choose the corresponding option to either Show the password or Copy it to the clipboard.

   Option B: Connect to a service using CyberArk’s built-in options.
   To the right of your account, select the drop-down arrow next to the Connect button.
