NetID
At UConn, faculty, staff, students, and affiliates receive a unique network identifier (NetID) that is comprised of 3 lower-case letters and 5 numbers. Each NetID remains the same throughout your career at UConn. NetID credentials allow you to log in to a wide variety of computing services at the University of Connecticut, including the Student Administration System (SAS), your UConn email account, HuskyCT online course tools, and many other technology resources.
Your NetID is a foundational component of your digital identity at UConn. It is available to the public and can be found on phonebook.uconn.edu. Your NetID password, however, should remain private. Never share your NetID password with anyone.
You can manage your NetID and NetID password at netid.uconn.edu.
