Dropping Grades Using Categories

This article details how to drop a specific number of either the highest or lowest grades using grade center categories.

  1. Open the Full Grade Center in your HuskyCT Course.

  2. Create a Total or Weighted Total column.

  3. If using a total column, change “All Grade Columns” to Selected Columns and Categories when indicating which columns to include in a Calculated Column. 

  4. Select a Category to add to a Calculated Column Formula.

    Note: First, check Column Organization view to be sure the category includes only the columns wanted in the calculation. Edit categories if needed.

  5. Use the lower arrow to the right of the Category Selection to move the category over.

  6. Once the category is moved to Selected Columns box, a set of options will appear. Enter the number of Lowest Grades to drop.

  7. Click Submit.
