Cannot find SharePoint site

Faculty, staff, and students may have difficulty finding a SharePoint site on their first visit.

The fastest way to help someone find a SharePoint site is to have a member, who has already accessed the site, send them the URL of the site.

Causes

  • If you were recently added to a SharePoint site, it may be a few minutes before you receive the invitation email.

  • The new site may not appear at s.uconn.edu/sharepoint if you have not previously visited the site.

Tips for finding your site

  • Visit s.uconn.edu/sharepoint and use the search box to search for the name of the SharePoint site.

  • If you can find the original invite email in your email client, use the link listed in that email.

  • Have another member of the site open the site in their web browser, and then copy the URL and send it to you.

  • Reach out to techsupport@uconn.edu to receive help in finding your site.
