Checking Mac System Information

To find your Mac's system information, access the About This Mac feature.

Starting with macOS Ventura, most of the information is hidden behind the More info… button inside the About This Mac window.

  1. Click the Apple logo in the upper left-hand corner of your desktop.

  2. In the drop-down menu, click About This Mac. Depending on the version of macOS you are running, some of the following information will appear:

    • Version number and name of macOS installed on your computer.

    • Model of your computer

    • Model year

    • Processor type

    • Memory amount

    • Graphics card information

    • Serial Number

  3. Select More Info… to see additional specifications for your comptuer.
