Classroom Equipment Standards

Departments can purchase equipment for non-centrally scheduled classrooms. Any purchases made for classrooms should follow the recommendations of the ITS Audio Visual team. 

ITS provides support for non-central (those not scheduled by the Office of the Registrar) classrooms and conference rooms if equipment purchased meets the following standards.

Audio/Visual Equipment and Design Standards

The Audio Visual group has developed these standards over time for reliability, manageability, and ADA compliance standards. Following these standards allows us to help manage the equipment by keeping it up to date and secure. It also allows for remote assistance and troubleshooting systems. Request an AV consultation for your project.
