GENESYS<==>KFS Interfaces

The  GENESYS to KFS interfaces shown below support the recording of University Payroll encumbrances and expenditures in the KFS Labor Ledger (L/L).  The Labor Ledger tracks this detailed data which is then passed by batch processing to the General Ledger (G/L) in summary form.

The KFS to GENESYS interfaces provide KFS reference data to support general GENESYS Payroll processing as well as creation of the detailed Payroll data interfaces shown below. 

Both GENESYS and KFS batch processing are controlled by the CONTROL-M Enterprise Manager and Batch Processing system. The UITS-Scheduling and Production Control section creates and maintains CONTROL-M jobs and monitors the nightly CONTROL-M schedules.
