What number do I call to access the voicemail system?

From your campus phone, call your local voicemail access number:

  • Law School and Vernon – (860) 947-1191

  • Avery Point, Groton, and Norwich – (860) 887-9246

  • Stamford - 1-9595

If checking voicemail outside of the local calling area, call Frontier’s toll-free number, 1-844-994-4993. (Not applicable to Stamford, Waterbury or downtown Hartford)

How do I reset my new voicemail password/PIN?

  1. Call your local voicemail access number or Frontier’s toll-free number, 1-844-994-4993, option 4. Stamford, Waterbury and downtown Hartford call (860) 486-4357

  2. Enter the temporary PIN.

  3. Follow the prompts to change your PIN and record your personalized greeting.

    1. Your PIN must be a 6- to 13-digit number.

Six incorrect PIN entries will disable your mailbox, which will require us to reset your voicemail password. For assistance, call (860) 486-4357 or submit a password reset request.

How do I know when I receive messages?

Through your telephone, you will hear a stutter dial tone (short, quick tones), and/or your message-waiting indicator light on your phone will be on.

How many messages can I save in my mailbox?

The total capacity of your mailbox is 200 minutes. The number of messages will vary depending on the length of the messages.

How will I know if my mailbox is almost full?

You will hear a warning threshold that your mailbox is getting full. Remember, you can always delete messages that you have already heard.
