Voicemail Notifications by Email
Email notifications are enabled on the voicemail system for the Storrs, Hartford, Stamford, and Waterbury campuses. Faculty and staff can check voicemail messages.
Departmental and Group Voicemail
Phones that are not associated with an individual, such as departmental main phone numbers or labs, will not have notifications turned on by default. To request this feature, a full-time employee for the department or unit should contact the Technology Support Center.
Multiple Phone Lines
Faculty and staff that have multiple phone lines with voicemail enabled (e.g., office phones on both campuses) will receive an email notification when a message has been recorded. However, the system-generated message will not specify which voicemail box generated the notification. Please check all associated with you.
