Installing Jabber - Student-Worker Personal Computers

This guide contains the instructions to help student-workers install Jabber on their personally owned computers.

  1. Ensure your NetIDwork is synced.

  2. Download the installer at webex.com/downloads/jabber.html.

  3. When the application opens, enter [NetIDwork]@uconn.edu and your NetIDwork password.

  4. If you are prompted with a message asking you to reset your account, press Reset. This will not affect your account.

  5. You will be brought to the Jabber application now.
