Using Perusall Student View

Perusall’s Student View allows instructors to view their course from the perspective of a student in the course. It is similar to HuskyCT’s student preview mode.

You can’t use the HuskyCT student preview mode to view Perusall as a student because your Perusall account is connected to your email address.

  1. Navigate to your Perusall course thought HuskyCT

  2. On the left hand side, select Student View.

  3. From the Are you sure? pop message, click OK.

  4. To enter the course as a Test Person (TP), click OK on the welcome message and Legal terms.

  5. After clicking OK, you will now enter the course under a temporary student account. The account gets deleted at the end of each preview session, so it will be as if you are entering the course for the first time. From here, you can navigate the course and interact with the course as a student would.

  6. To end the preview, click the profile name, Test Student in the upper right corner, and click Stop impersonation and return to my account.
