Adding the Perusall Tool in Ultra Course View
This article is for instructors using Perusall in their Ultra Course View. This article includes instructions on how to set up a Perusall account through HuskyCT and instructions on how to make Perusall accessible to students in HuskyCT.

Part 1: Activating Your Perusall Instructor Account
Log in to HuskyCT and navigate to the HuskyCT course that will be using Perusall.
Under Course Content click on the plus sign.
Click on Content Market.
From the content market, scroll down and locate Perusall Content Tool to access the Perusall page and setup the course connection.
If you are a first-time Perusall user, check your UConn email for an account activation message and, if applicable, follow the directions in the email to confirm your account. After your Perusall account has been created, you can return to Perusall to link the course page and add course materials.
Part 2: Adding Perusall Links in Course Content Areas
Log in to HuskyCT, click on the appropriate HuskyCT course, and navigate to the Course Content area.
Click on the plus sign under any area within the Course Content you would like to setup the Perusall link.
Click on Content Market.
From the content market, scroll down and locate Persuall Course Tool and click on the plus sign to add to the item to your course page.
You will reach the setup page for Persuall where you can build or copy content. You may be asked to merge your account for the first time setup. If so, you will receive an email with a Confirm and Merge Button. Click on the button and then re-launch the link in HuskyCT to proceed.
After setting up your Perusall course, make the Persuall Course Item visible on your HuskyCT course page to make the item visible to students.
