Reviewing and Grading Test Submissions
Follow steps 1-6 in the section Finding Test Submissions above.
You will see the student’s submission, and have the ability to view and/or enter a grade, and enter feedback to the student.
For automatically graded questions, the grades will be populated in the grading pill next to the question. If the exam consists of entirely automatically graded questions, the grade will also be populated to the Overall Grade pill in the upper right corner, next to the Submission Number.
For questions that require manual grading such as Essays, HuskyCT will grade all the automatically graded questions, if any are present, but will not populate a grade in the Overall Grade pill until the instructor enters a grade for the questions that require manual grading. To enter a grade for these questions, click on the white grading pill next to the question, and enter the points to award the student for that particular question.
Optionally, instructors can provide feedback to students. To provide feedback, enter your comments under Feedback For Student, located to the right of the student submission, then click Save to save your comments.
If there are additional submissions, you can advance to the next or go back to the previous submission by clicking the arrows to the right and left of the student’s name.
Depending on the settings of the assignment, you may be required to Post grades before students can see them.
