Gradebook Automatic Zeros in Ultra Course View
Overview
The default setting for the Ultra Gradebook is that students will automatically receive a zero for any assessment columns that have:
a due date which has passed
no submission/grade.
The “0” is a placeholder, and once students submit and are graded, the input grade will replace the “0”.
Instructions to disable Automatic Zeros
From your Ultra course, click on the Gradebook tab.
Click on the gear icon to access the Gradebook Settings.
Scroll down and then un-select the check box for Automatic Zeros.
To clear any Zeros that previously appeared from this setting, select “Clear existing automatic zeros”. Then click Confirm.
