Receive ITS Communications

ITS uses Microsoft 365 distribution groups to email our community. Distribution groups can be used to email the members of the group or to send them meeting/event invitations.

Distribution Groups do not include a shared mailbox, calendar, or document library. Create a Microsoft 365 Group for that functionality.

We have two groups that you may join (or leave).

  • IT Professionals: If you have an IT role at the University, you should join this group. You will receive messages outages, issues, and other technical topics in addition to our general IT messages about initiatives. ITS employees are automatically added to this group.

  • IT Stakeholders: Join this group if you have an interest knowing about IT initiatives and projects that may impact you and your area. You will not receive some of the more technical messages about planned outages and maintenance (e.g., network outages).
