Group & Role Administration
What is a Group?Â
Groups and associated roles are commonly used in the Form Builder and when determining routing in Workflow. Application administrators may use groups and roles in their apps.Â
Available GroupsÂ
The University Organization structure will be centrally managed for use in workflow, though it will be condensed to a Department → VP/AVP/Dean → Division.Â
Custom departmental or application specific groups may be created for you. Only ITS-ATS Kuali Build system administrators have the ability to create groups; however, designated group administrators may be defined for group management, which provides the ability to create, edit and delete roles and associated membership within a group.Â

Requests for application-specific groups can be made to the Kuali Build Administrators via the Technology Support Center Portal at techsupport.uconn.edu or by emailing techsupport@uconn.edu.
