Setting Up LastPass on a Mobile Device
UConn students, staff, and faculty can set up the LastPass password manager on a mobile device. If you have not yet activated LastPass, you can do so here: Activating Your LastPass Account
How to set up LastPass on an iPhone or iPad
Download the LastPass app from the App Store.
Open the LastPass app.
Click LOG IN and enter your UConn email address. Allow the Microsoft login if prompted.
Complete the login with your UConn email credentials.
Your login may be blocked if this is your first time setting up. If so, check your UConn email inbox to verify the login, then try logging in again.
Follow the first-time setup instructions. It is recommended to set up AutoFill. This will allow passwords to be entered directly in apps and websites without having to open the LastPass app.
LastPass is now set up on your device.
How to set up LastPass on your Android mobile device:
Download the LastPass app for Android
Review required app permissions and click Accept
Open the LastPass app
Enter your UConn email address & Net ID password and click Log In
Authenticate with multifactor authentication
LastPass is now installed and logged in on your Android app.
How to set up LastPass on an Apple Watch
Make sure LastPass is first set up on your iPhone.
In LastPass on your iPhone, open Settings on the task bar at the bottom of your screen and navigate to Security.
Enable Authorize Apple Watch.
Tap OK on the security reminder prompt indicating that you will not be prompted for Touch ID, Face ID, PIN, or master password on your Apple Watch.
Optional: Enable the Use LastPass Watch PIN Code setting and enter a 4 or 6 digit pin code that you can use to protect and access your LastPass account on your Apple Watch.
LastPass is now paired and logged in on your Apple Watch.
