Exporting and Importing Question Pools in HuskyCT

The article is for faculty looking to export and import question pools in their HuskyCT courses.

This page assumes the instructor already has a question pool created in one of their courses. To find out more about how to set up question pools, go to this link: How to Build a Pool of Test Questions

Exporting a Question Pool

  1. Navigate to your HuskyCT course.

  2. Under “Course Tools,” click on “Tests, Surveys and Pools.”

     

  3. Click on “Pools.”

     

  4. Click on the drop box near one of your question pools. It should show “Export to Local Computer.”

     

  5. Now, your question pool(s) is downloaded as a zip file. You do not need to unzip the zip file.

     

     

Importing a Question Pool

  1. Navigate to your HuskyCT course.

  2. Under “Course Tools,” click on “Tests, Surveys and Pools.”

     

  3. Click on “Pools.”

     

     

  4. Click on “Import Pool.”

     

  5. Click on “Browse Local Files,” and select the question pool file(s) you want to import.

    6. Make sure to click submit so you do not lose any saved question pools imported.
