Printer Setup in Mac osX 10.14 using LPD

NOTE: These instructions work as of 8/16/2024.

​In settings > printers add a new printer. Click on the + arrow to add a new printer.

Select IP and fill in the information.

Address: recommend DNS name but IP address will work too.

Protocol: Line Printer Daemon - LPD

Queue: blank as default will work.

Use: This will default to Generic Postscript Printer, this option is fine.

You can name the copier appropriately, leave location to the default as it's preconfigured.
