Known issue

Will ask all users for licensing information if User Data is stored in profile.

Fix:

Edit the following registry keys:

Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FactSet\File Locations and then to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Factset\File Locations
Change FactSetDir to "C:\ProgramData%\FactSet\User Data\"

Uninstall FactSet

Re-install FactSet and specify user data installed to “%LOCALAPPDATA%\FactSet\User Data\”  


Installing FactSet fresh should work under most circumstances if you specify "C:\ProgramData%\FactSet\User Data\"  as the proper location to store User Data.

Account name is going to be UCONN_STAMF

A one time validation code will be sent to stamfordtechsvcs@uconn.edu

Serial number and machine name will be found on the Q Drive
