Stamford Operations Department Steps

1. Request an affiliate account, merchant will receive an email at 7:00AM the next morning to create the account. Merchant will need to email you there username

2. Once you have the user name, Santino Guachione will need to configure the location for one card, once this is done Stamford ITS can then assist in setting up the equipment.

Required Equipment

1. iPad – 10^th generation or later

2. A card reader

3. An adapter

4. Internet connection (Wi-Fi is ok)

5. Yearly software licensing fee, refer to your contract for the specifics about this.

Configuring Card Reader From Your Computer

You will need these two things ahead of time:

• Driver for card reader installed on your PC (you will need both):

1. Connect reader to your computer

2. Open up a web browser and go to 192.168.63.99

3. Click on System Config in the top menu

4. Under Upload Config select the configuration file you downloaded, and click “Upload Config”

5. Click Apply Changes

Configuring iPad to Connect to CS Gold

1. Download the MR Reader app from the app store

2. Once opened, I enter “goldwebmgr.oco.uconn.edu  into the server url

3. To authenticate use the user name and password for each vendor as you’ve provided them

4. Under settings

   1. reader type needs to be set to “keyboard wedge”

   2. success time should be 1 second

   3. failure should be 3 secs

   4. change terminating length to 12 characters from 9
