Outlook Autocomplete Issues

Make sure Outlook is closed
Go to the following folder: C:\users\usernetid\appdata\local\microsoft\outlook\roamcache
You might see several .dat files that start with Stream_Autocomplete_
Copy them to a temporary folder
Go into Outlook and empty the auto-complete list:
Click File > Options
Select the Mail tab
Under the Send Messages group click Empty Auto-Complete List button
In the confirmation window about cleaning the Auto-Complete list, click Yes
Close Outlook, open Outlook again and send a test email to Stamford Technologies by typing in the address: stamfordtechsvcs@uconn.edu
Close Outlook and go back to the following folder: C:\users\usernetid\appdata\local\microsoft\outlook\roamcache
You should see a new .dat file that starts with Stream_Autocomplete_ (It should be time stamped that day and time you just sent the test email)
Copy the file name and go to the temporary folder you created and saved the original .dat files. Look for the .dat file that is the largest (this is probably the one that contains the lost auto-complete addresses)
Rename that file with the new file name and then copy that over to the folder: C:\users\usernetid\appdata\local\microsoft\outlook\roamcache (replacing the current file)
Open Outlook and look to see if auto-complete addresses came back.​​
