UPrint

UPrint

Starting in 2026, ITS and the UConn Budget and Planning Office will begin introducing a standardized fleet of UPrint printers that will be centrally funded.

Please visit the Updates to the UPrint Program guide to learn how this service is changing.

Faculty and staff can read this guide to learn about UConn's UPrint Program. UPrint is administered by UConn Information Technology Services (ITS) and involves the central management of printers and “secure release” technology.

Joining UPrint

If you have questions about your current devices or want to join the program, please open a Support Request using the printer-specific requests at techsupport.uconn.edu.

Each department will undergo an initial assessment where ITS works with the department and print partners to identify specific printing needs. This assessment helps determine the most suitable equipment and technology to optimize efficiency, productivity, and cost savings.
