Create a New Bulletin
UConn staff can create and upload bulletin boards on Carousel.
Log in to Carousel with your NetID Credentials.
Navigate to the Zone you would like to create the bulletin in.
Select New Bulletin. There should be 3 options: Template, Uploaded, and Dynamic.
Go through the options to select the template that best suits your needs. In the content tab, you can preview the layout of your zone. As you edit blocks of text, the preview will continue to update.
To edit your text, select the Layout tab above the Preview window. Select the field you would like to edit. Here, you can change the font, color, alignment, text size, and other features. You can also change the position of text boxes by clicking and dragging.
To schedule days and times certain bulletins are active, select the Schedule tab.
To view more customization settings, click Extras.
When you are finished, click the Publish button at the top right of the screen.
Uploading a Bulletin
If you would like to create your own bulletin outside of Carousel, utilize the Uploaded bulletin tab.
It can be an image or video file; it must be uploaded from the current computer you are using.
Drag and drop your file or click Browse to select it.
Once that bulletin is uploaded, navigate to Schedule and Extras for more customization before you publish it.
