Scanning/Destination Test Fails on "Read/Write Test"
This article is intended for University IT professionals troubleshooting copiers set up for EFS scanning.
This solution has been shown to resolve most "write test" errors which cause the destination test to fail, is is not apparent why some machines require SMBv3 to be disabled.
Disable SMBv1 and SMBv3 from Filing Settings
Log in with admin credentials to the remote management webpage.
Select Properties from the tabs.
From the left-hand sidebar, expand Connectivity and select Setup.
Click edit for SMB Filing.
Uncheck SMBv3 (selected by default on most machines).
