Resources Site (School of Business)

The University of Connecticut School of Business IT department maintains a list of documentation for software students who are specifically in the School of Business may need; such documentation is listed under the “Software Installation” section on this site. Some of the software and data the IT department details may require access to a specific set of files not available on a generic website. Such specific software and data is kept entirely on the School of Business IT resources site at resources.business.uconn.edu.

When you navigate to the resources site, you are required to sign in with valid NetID credentials. Any guest speakers or personnel from outside of UConn are not permitted to access the resources site.

Software available on the Resources Site

  • Sample Data (“UCLA-LoPucki Bankruptcy Research Database” and “Ecolumix”)

  • .zip files containing software users can self-install (“RapidMiner Community Edition” and “SAS 9.4 with Enterprise Miner”)

  • .zip files containing licenses renewal files for specific software (“SAS License Renewal”)

  • Links to Confluence articles articles detailing common software and best practices for School of Business courses, as well as direct downloads of each document (“DBeaver”, “Gephi”, “Visual Studio Code”, etc.)
