Staying Current - Practicing SQL

As a best practice, primarily for security, we purge expired accounts after sufficient time to complete course work. Regrettably, accounts created the semester before on the School of Business's Oracle Database server expire at the start of the next semester.

There are many FREE ways to practice and improve Oracle SQL skills. Please see the options below:

If you prefer Microsoft SQL a local installation is your only option. We currently do not have a research / student instance of Microsoft SQL and usually recommend students use a local / personal PC installation of something like PostgreSQL (MySQL) or Microsoft SQL Express for development.

You may be interested in Vagrant or Docker as your Linux or Windows development environment.
