Release Condition Criteria

The membership field allows instructors to limit access to an item or assignment to a particular student or group of students. By default, content is visible to all students. This is the equivalent of the Membership criteria in HuskyCT Original Course View.

After checking Specific members or groups, and instructor can specify the members or groups who should have access to the item.

You must either set a Show on and/or Hide after date for this setting to take effect.

The Date/Time criteria allows instructors to limit access to an item or assignment to a particular time frame. Setting a Show on and/or Hide after date/time will make the content available after the Show on date and it will remain available until the Hide after date.

Instructors must select a Graded item and set a Grade Requirement for this setting to work.

The Performance criteria allows instructors to limit access to an item based on a student’s grade.

After selecting an item, instructors can either develop their own criteria using the Custom Range or use one of the built-in criteria that is available in the drop-down box based on the total number of points possible for the selected Gradeboook item.

Built-In Criteria

Custom Criteria

Built-in Criteria requiring students to earn a score of 10 points or higher on the Chapter 1 Test item to access the item.

A custom criteria requiring students to earn a minimum of 5 points and a maximum of 20 points to access the item.

The When will content appear menu allows instructor to customize what will happen before the release conditions are met.

If the Show option is selected, content will be visible, but not accessible to students.

If the Hide option is selected, the content will not appear for students until the Release Conditions are met. This is similar to how Adaptive Release functioned in Original Course View.
